Serving our community since 1919. VNA Community Services provides quality, affordable healthcare and social services in Montgomery & Philadelphia Counties.

From our Family Health Center to Home Care, we support independence and dignity for all. Founded in 1919, VNA-Community Services, Inc. (VNA) is a non-profit agency with a focused mission of providing community-based programs that address family health and social service needs and that support individual and family capacity as well as self-sufficiency goals. Through its offices in Abington and Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and with worksites in Colmar and Pottstown the VNA works to bring lasting and meaningful changes to peoples' lives.

Despite SNAP payments being delayed, it is important to understand that the new rules still apply and in order to keep SNAP going forward you will need to comply with the work requirements or prove you meet an exemption. This is a very confusing time for benefit recipients. Please contact us for helping you understand your benefits and what you may need to do to maintain them.

Because of the government shutdown, SNAP benefits will not be paid until the shutdown ends. In Montgomery County, this means 62,800 neighbors will have a significant reduction in their ability to feed themselves and their families. Montgomery County has a robust pantry system, but that system is not able to meet the need without support from the community. If you have the means, please consider donating to your local food pantry.
