With the Christmas Tree Walk returning to The Village of Ackley on Sunday, Dec. 7 from 2–4 p.m., we’d love to look back together. If you’ve joined us in years past, tell us about your favorite moments—and feel free to add a photo!

With such a great response, The Village Christmas Tree Walk promises to be gorgeous!! Bring your family, take a stroll, visit with our residents and staff, and have some holiday refreshments!

Some of our veterans attended the Veterans Day Program @ AGWSR HS. The band was excellent, the speakers were wonderful, and many students came to shake our residents' hands and give them cards. ❤️🇺🇲HEARTWARMING! 🇺🇲❤️

Celebrating autumn with Treats & Trivia -AND- Fall Fest! We baked pumpkin bars and enjoyed them with Halloween themed trivia and jokes. Thank you to Barb and her crew from the Thrift Store for opening it up & being so welcoming. Fall Fest included a photo booth, great snacks, a pumpkin decorating contest, pumpkin pong, and Let's Make a Deal, where residents got to choose Bag #1, Bag #2 or what was in staff pockets.🤣) What a week!!

A Pink Tea Party to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a short presentation, several pink treats, raspberry iced tea, buttons and beads. 🩷 Several residents and a few staff were able to share their stories of how they were personally affected by breast cancer, whether it be family, friends, or even themselves having a diagnosis.
