✨ Meet Lolli! ✨

We’re so excited to introduce the other newest member of the Stoneybrook family — Lolli! 💗

Lolli is a four-year-old Quarter Horse who has already stolen our hearts. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and absolutely LOVES attention. With a strong foundation of training before arriving at Stoneybrook, she has settled in beautifully and is eager to get to work.

We truly believe Lolli is going to be a perfect fit for our therapeutic riding program. Her calm nature and kind spirit will make her a wonderful partner for the individuals and families we serve.
Be sure to say hello to Lolli next time you’re at the barn.

Welcome to Stoneybrook, Lolli!

New team member spotlight.

Meet our newest team member, Ashley.
Ashley grew up on a farm and has had horses her entire life. Ashley and her husband, Rob have three kiddos. They also have a horse, a miniature horse, 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 bunnies.
Ashley loves working and sharing her love of horses and it shows everyday here at Stoneybrook. When Ashley’s not with us, she manages her family hair salon, Alluring Designs A Salon and also bakes the most delicious sourdough bread and other goodies in her home bakery, Wild Heart Bakes.

We are so thrilled to have Ashley on our team.

🚍 Getting to Stoneybrook Just Got Easier! 🐴

Did you know our students can ride the Go Westmoreland Transit
Go Westmoreland bus to their weekly sessions at Stoneybrook Foundation?

Transportation can be a barrier for so many families — and we’re grateful to have a convenient, affordable public transit option that helps participants get to the barn safely and consistently.

Therapeutic riding changes lives — and now getting here is even more accessible. 💙

If you need help planning your route or learning more about how to use the bus system, reach out. We’re happy to help make the journey to the barn smooth and stress-free!

We had a wonderful field trip visit from a fantastic group of students and teachers from Wendover Middle School.
The students and teachers were absolutely delightful, engaged, and full of positive energy. Our Stoneybrook team enjoyed the visit just as much as our guests did! 🐴💚

Thank you for spending part of your day with us — we love sharing the magic of horses and healing with our community.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our beloved students, Denny.

Denny was a cherished part of our family at Stoneybrook Foundation. He looked forward to his weekly visits, and although he was nonverbal, his joy spoke volumes. You could see it in his eyes, in his smiles, and in the calm presence he carried when he was with our team and horses.

One of our sweetest memories of Denny will always be how he would sit and enjoy his coffee with us — and of course, share those special moments AND his coffee with our miniature pony, Polly Pocket. Those simple moments were a special gift. In those quiet moments, there was connection, comfort, and understanding that went far beyond words.

Denny reminded us that communication isn’t always spoken. It’s felt. It’s seen. It’s shared in presence, in trust, and in love.

We are incredibly grateful to have been part of his journey. He will always hold a special place in our hearts and in the story of Stoneybrook Foundation.
Please join us in holding Denny’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Denny will be deeply missed and forever remembered. 🐴💙

🐴 Wishlist Wednesday: A Little TLC for Our Aging Equine Heroes 🧡

Just like us, our horses feel the effects of aging—stiff joints, sore muscles, and the need for a little extra care after all the amazing work they do for our riders.

This week, our horses are requesting a couple of simple but important items to help keep them comfortable and feeling their best:

✨ Epsom Salts – for soothing soaks that ease aches and support recovery
✨ Ligament Gel – to help relieve soreness and support joint and soft tissue comfort

These small items make a BIG difference in keeping our therapy horses happy, healthy, and ready to safely serve children and adults with disabilities every day.

💙 Want to help? Consider purchasing one of these items from our wishlist or making a donation in their honor. Our horses (and humans!) are so grateful for your continued support.
