Such a meaningful morning at the Groton Fire Station’s Veterans Breakfast! 🇺🇸❤️
Michael and Minerva had some wonderful conversations with local Veterans — including a few who expressed interest in joining our team as companion caregivers. We love seeing Veterans continue serving their communities in such a meaningful way.
We also learned more about the Groton Fire Department’s Senior S.A.F.E. Program, which helps keep at-risk seniors safe from fires in their homes — an incredible resource for older adults in Groton, Dunstable, Pepperell, and Townsend. 🚒
If you’re a Veteran, surviving spouse, or family member in these towns and would like to learn more about home care resources, VA benefits, or caregiver opportunities, Visiting Angels of Acton is always happy to help.
Thank you to the Groton Fire Department for hosting, Margaret Scarsdale for State Representative for her dedication to the seniors who are the backbone of our district, and Clear Path for Veterans New England — Billy and his daughter Avery (future “Angel” in the pink hat!) — for the meaningful work you do supporting Veterans in our communities. ❤️
