Happy New Year!

We wish you all the happiness, joy and laughter.

This year has been a whirlwind! We taught over 225 classes, played in the woods well over a 1000 hours, hosted 6 weeks of summer camp, climbed, laughed, built, swung, dug, jumped and played our way through 2025.

We look back this year to all the moments we have enjoyed in the woods. From the small giggles to watching the leaves fall all the way to giant holes dug into the ground, forts set up all over the woods and trees climbed to new heights.

We have loved every moment.

This year we are looking to grow.

We will grow in our dedication to working with children of all abilities, we will grow deeper in our imaginations. We will reach out our branches to new ideas and create new experiences.

Here is to 2026, the year of growth.

We always get asked, what about winter?
To which we respond, what about it?

Winter isn’t a time to shy away from being outdoors. We still need the vitamin D from the sun, we crave the fresh air and we live for those first flakes that promise snow!

Our kiddos spend their time:
creating snow forts
Sledding
strengthening their core muscles while walking on slippery ice
Building snow men
Getting heavy work in shoveling, moving and hauling snow
Learning to regulate their bodies and advocate if they are too hot or too cold
Exploring
Discovering
Getting tactile input
And playing!

Extra Steps Pediatric Therapies a subsidiary company of Minute Man Arc for Human Services a non-profit company in MA is looking for a Part Time Fee for Service Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our growing team. We provide developmentally appropriate, multidisciplinary services for eligible children ages 3-22. We are located 2 Mill & Main, Bldg #2, Suite 370, Maynard, MA.

Our therapists provide center based diagnostic and treatment services. We offer an opportunity to be creative and play based while working with children and their families in a supportive and enjoyable work environment.

Hours and days are flexible between Monday and Friday and between 3:00pm-7:00pm and/or Saturday mornings.
