It means checking in with your hunger cues, choosing foods that are satisfying, and allowing yourself to enjoy nourishment without fear or pressure. Over time, this decreases intensity, rebuilds trust, and supports a more peaceful relationship with food.

There’s a lot of noise out there about “detoxing” (teas, juices, and quick fixes that promise to reset your system.) The truth is that your body already has a remarkable detox system built in. Your liver, kidneys, lungs, and skin work around the clock to keep things flowing as they should.

What they really need from you isn’t restriction; it’s nourishment. Hydration, fiber, colorful foods, movement, and rest all help your body do what it’s designed to do naturally.

You don’t need to punish your body to help it heal. You can support it with consistency, care, and compassion.
