Adding a Married Alt Name Helps Find Records!

Note that both the BillionGrave and FindaGrave record contain the Maiden Surname.

Be sure to include the Maiden Name. Just copy/paste name from top of page into the First Name field and then the Married Surname in the Last Name field.

Cemetery Names

A lot of people don't know that they can add Cemetery Names to the Burial Event on someone's Details Page!

If you add attach a Death Record, Burial Record, Obit Record, FindaGrave Record or BillionGraves Record (or others) then you may have a Cemetery Name that you can add.

FamilySearch added Cemetery names to their Place Names database several years ago, so it is usually pretty easy to just copy/paste the Cemetery Name in the front of the Burial Event and find the correct cemetery.

It's nice to be able to add a final resting place. Oh, and don't forget to at least add the Burial Year. I use the year from the Death Event.
