So it's been a year since my transplant and I am doing great! Hard to believe it's already been a year. It's been amazing being able to do most things I did before my health took a turn. So grateful.

Ok y’all, I’ve tried to change the page to “We found Naomi a kidney” icbut it’s telling me the link cannot be found or disabled. I just want everyone to know that we’re so thankful for everyone’s shares and willingness to be tested to see if they’re a match. Praise the lord, we found a match through a very dear friend. My sis in law/best friend still needs help. She has to go every Monday and Thursday for labs then Tuesday and Friday for appointments to go over labs to see how her new kidney is doing. We’ve already had a close call with borderline rejection but thankfully, the extra steroids stopped that for now. Got labs back. All is good. So glad high dosage of steroids fixed the issue. Now we will continue labs weekly to make sure everything stays OK.

Today I had to have a biopsy of the new kidney. My levels are climbing and they don't know why maybe possible rejection. Guess we'll find out soon.

Praise the lord!! Kidney transplant is complete!! Jill is resting in her room and Naomi is still in recovery but has come to and doing well. Please continue to pray for speedy recoveries for both these beautiful ladies and pray for their families. Thank you all for your prayers during this process. ♥️🙏🏼

Our prayers have been answered!! Naomi will be receiving a kidney on December 7th!!! We can’t thank you all enough for sharing her story and for all your prayers, love and support. Her kidney will be coming from a very dear friend. We are beyond blessed for her selfless act of kindness and will forever be grateful for you and your family, Jill.

The day I have been waiting for has finally arrived!! December 7th will be life changing for me and my family. I will get my new kidney thanks to Jill. I will be forever grateful for this kidney she is donating to me. I am so blessed and forever thankful to her.
