Grab your costumes and get ready for a fang-tastic night of Trick-or-Treating at Benedictine Ada! Bring the kiddos for a safe, fun, and festive evening filled with treats, laughter, and Halloween magic with our residents. 🧙‍♀

Our residents can’t wait to see all the adorable ghosts, goblins, and superheroes who stop by! Open to families, staff, and the entire community — 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞’𝐬 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞!

Our residents had a frightfully fun time making these adorable Monster Rice Krispie Treats today! 💜🧡💚 Not only are they cute and delicious — they’re also super easy to make, perfect for all ages to enjoy together!

Here’s how we made them:
1️⃣ Start with pre-made Rice Krispie treats (or make your own!)
2️⃣ Melt colored candy melts
3️⃣ Dip the tops of the treats in the melted candy
4️⃣ Add candy eyes and sprinkles while the coating is still soft
5️⃣ Let them cool… then enjoy your spooky little snack monsters! 👻

It’s amazing how a simple activity can bring out so much laughter, creativity, and connection. 💕

🌧️ Rainy days can’t keep our residents from having a little fun! Today, we took a trip to the Shooting Star Casino Mahnomen - for an afternoon of good food, laughter, and a few games of chance. 🎰✨

Even though the weather kept us indoors, spirits were high as everyone enjoyed each other’s company, shared stories, and made some new memories together. ❤️ It’s always a joy to see our residents having a great time and making the most out of every day — rain or shine!

🌿 Celebrating Spiritual Care Week at Benedictine! 🌿

This week, we recognize Kristy Mahrt for her incredible commitment and dedication to the spiritual well-being of our residents, their families, and our associates. 💜

Kristy’s journey with Benedictine is a true testament to her passion for caring for others. She began her career as a Wellness Aide, then grew into roles as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Trained Medication Aide (TMA), and Resident Assistant (RA) at Mission Court. Today, she serves as our Spiritual Care Coordinator, continuing to touch lives with her compassion, faith, and kindness.

Kristy is also in the process of completing her schooling and accreditations to become a Spiritual Care Director, and we are so honored to support her through her journey with our Tuition Reimbursement Program. 🌟

Her door is always open, her heart always ready to listen, and her faith shines brightly in all she does. God has a plan for us all — and we are truly blessed that his plan for Kristy included being part of our Benedictine family. 🙏
