☕️ Cookies and Coffee with the Little Learners kiddos has become a cherished time for the Grandmas and Grandpas at Mission Court!

❤️ The lasting relationships built between the generations as the children grow up, being part of our Benedictine family are extra special!

🚐 Our new van is officially on the road—and “Blinged Out” with Benedictine logos, thanks to the team at Signarama!

🛣️ It’s already been getting plenty of use, and both our caregivers and residents absolutely LOVE it. We’re so grateful to have another transportation option that helps us better serve those in our care.

As we celebrate National Long Term Care Administrator’s Week, we reflect on all memories we’ve made over the years with our Executive Director, Morgan Hviding!

Morgan, thank you do for all you do for our team, the residents we serve and their families. Thank you for always being a friend, and your willingness to throw on a pair of scrubs to help on the floor or putting on a hair net to help in the kitchen, stepping in to fill any position needed, helping at all the fundriaser events, or dressing up in any silly costume we ask for Halloween or event we may have!

𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱-𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁-𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴. A single photo. One beautiful exchange. A moment that captured our mission in action.

During National Grandparents Day at Benedictine Living Community–Ada, Dax handed Grandma Betty a handmade card created by our Little Learner’s children. Each child gifted heart-shaped cross pins that read, “I have the best Grandparent in the world!”

That powerful moment has now been recognized by LeadingAge Minnesota in their statewide photo contest.

🚍 Today was a bit bittersweet, as Ted took his last trip as our Benedictine Bus Driver!

Always showing up in a funny hat, tie, or tutu, he made us all smile and brightened our days with chocolate and had us wondering what silly outfit he’d show up in next or funny joke he would have to share! 👨🏻‍💼👔🧢🎩 🤣🤪

❤️ Ted, thank you for your service and dedication to the residents and tenants you served, and always being a team player, helping whenever we needed!

🚌 The wheels on the bus will still go round and round, but it wont be quite the same without you! You will be missed dearly, however we know you’ll still be stopping in to check on us all! 🥹🥰

We are thrilled to share that our National Grandparents Day photo was selected as a winner by LeadingAge Minnesota!

𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒊𝒔𝒏’𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒅. 𝑰𝒕’𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒃𝒆𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒕.

Because of a Foundation donation from a Benedictine employee, our Little Learner’s children were able to gift heart-shaped cross pins, handmade cards, a signed copy of 𝘔𝘺 𝘞𝘪𝘴𝘩 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘠𝘰𝘶 by Amy Aanenson, and handwritten notes from grandparents. That generosity created a moment between Dax and Grandma Betty that now represents our entire mission.
