Are you passionate about supporting local businesses and being a positive face for our community? We’re looking for enthusiastic, dedicated professionals to join our Chamber Ambassador Program!

🤝 Who Are Ambassadors?
Chamber Ambassadors are active members (or employees/representatives of member businesses) in good standing who serve as an extension of the Chamber team. Ambassadors represent both the Chamber and their business, acting as a goodwill arm that supports members, welcomes new investors, and strengthens connections across our community.

✔️ Ambassador Expectations:
• Must be a Chamber member or represent a member business
• Must have employer support and flexibility to participate
• Uphold the Ambassador Committee’s code of conduct
• Serve as a positive, professional representative of the Chamber

💼 The Ambassador Committee is the backbone of the Chamber, working alongside staff to add value for investors, support recruitment efforts, and build strong business relationships.

Adams County is all about making meaningful moves to support new homeowners and invest in a stronger community! 🎉 One recipient, Shane Melby, became a homeowner in Adams County and received a $2,500 Homestead Credit—a new incentive created to help offset homebuying costs and encourage local residency.

💡 This forward-thinking program was developed through a partnership between Adams County Economic Development and the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s UniverCity Alliance. Drawing from case studies and collaboration with UW–Madison students and faculty, the Homestead Credit was designed as a proactive approach to addressing housing needs while attracting new residents to our growing area.

✅ What is the Homestead Credit?
A $2,500 incentive for individuals purchasing a home in Adams County—ideal for covering first mortgage payments or easing the costs that come with moving into a new home.

🏡 Why This Program Matters:
• Helps employees who work in Adams County live where they work
• Encourages young professionals and families to put down roots locally
• Shows Adams County’s commitment to long-term community investment

“Receiving the Homestead Credit was such a nice surprise,” shares Shane Melby. “It’s a great cushion for anyone on a tight budget and really shows that Adams County supports its residents.”

No problem, this evening is open to all skill levels, from beginner to Pro! $10 entry fee includes shooting and food.
