🍁The 2025 Fall Family Festival was a resounding success!🍂
We were fortunate to have a beautiful, sun-filled day filled with joy and merriment. The event featured exceptional cuisine and stimulating conversations.
🌸We also took the opportunity to bid farewell to one of our esteemed residents, celebrating her time at Cedar Court with cherished memories and laughter that will be treasured forever. We extend our sincere gratitude to the volunteers, Hy-Vee for catering the event, and Fareway for providing the delectable Fruit and Veggie Trays.

🎃October at Cedar Court was a month of vibrant festivities as we prepared for our Halloween celebration. The autumnal atmosphere was filled with joy and creativity as everyone embraced the seasonal spirit. We commenced the month by adorning the space with spooky decorations, including jack-o'-lanterns and eerie lighting, which set the perfect ambiance. We hosted our 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat, engaged in spooky games, and featured our inaugural drumming performance with our chair yoga group. The highlight of the month was the thrilling Great Pumpkin Stealing Contest, where residents began with five pumpkins on their doors and were encouraged to steal and replace them, with the catch being that if caught, they had to return the pumpkin. At the end of the month, the residents with the most pumpkins won a prize.
🎃On Halloween, we enjoyed a spectacular performance and our monthly Cedar Buck Auction, accompanied by delicious food and refreshments.
🎃We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed to the Halloween Party's success, and we appreciate your support.

🔥🎃🏈Cedar Court Happenings🔥🎃🏈

This week, our residents engaged in a variety of activities, including crafting wooden and stained-glass pumpkins to adorn their homes. We introduced a new game, Ready, Set, Roll, and were treated to a musical performance by Chester Proctor. The week culminated in a bonfire gathering at the Pine Room Patio, where we enjoyed s'mores while watching the Southland Rebels Friday night football game, providing a wonderful conclusion to our busy week.

🌟🌟Cedar Court Reflecting on September 🌟🌟
As the month comes to a close, we've had the pleasure of enjoying outdoor strolls, engaging in playful activities such as bubble fun and Scrabble, participating in Balloon Bat Volleyball, touring the newly opened Adams Community Center, and welcoming the Homecoming Court from Southland Schools.
We're grateful for these wonderful experiences and look forward to the exciting opportunities October will bring! 🎃
