The magic of the season, was sparkled with joy this entire month of December, igniting with laughter and cheer through games, themed weeks, Christmas crafts, and Christmas Bingo.
Filling our hearts with love and gratitude, we created unforgettable memories that will shine bright throughout the year.

🎄2025 Christmas at Cedar Court was a memorable time featuring Mr. and Mrs. Clause, Dasher the Reindeer and the Grinch. Our residents enjoyed reindeer games, grinch snowball fight, and presents from Santa. Each table had many conversations going, laughs and good food. We want to thank all of the staff, residents, for making this the best Christmas Party at Cedar Court! We wish you all a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year!

The month of December has been filled with many talented acts, the Hayfield Choir caroled in our dining room and our residents loved tapping along to the music, we loved seeing them move to the beat.

🎄We had so, much fun playing the Christmas snowball shovel game challenge!
Everyone was laughing and enjoying the afternoon, realizing it was difficult to be blind folded and be timed at the same time.
Congratulations to our winner who had scored the most in two rounds! ❄

🎄We are delighted to announce the arrival of T-Bone Rey at Cedar Court Entertainment for the month of December, a special holiday treat. This week we indulged in festive activities, including frosting Christmas cookies, hot cocoa and sampling a few Carroll's popcorn specialties. The local boy scout group added to the week with a heartwarming carol performance. Today, Chester Proctor entertaining us with some great hits for Christmas. 🎄

We are delighted to report that our Thanksgiving celebration at Cedar Court was a resounding success. Our residents had a wonderful time learning the Turkey Trot and participating in various games. As we bid farewell to this holiday, we are eager to welcome the festive season. Where did the year go? We would like to take this opportunity to extend our warmest wishes to everyone for a Happy Thanksgiving! 🍂

🍁The 2025 Fall Family Festival was a resounding success!🍂
We were fortunate to have a beautiful, sun-filled day filled with joy and merriment. The event featured exceptional cuisine and stimulating conversations.
🌸We also took the opportunity to bid farewell to one of our esteemed residents, celebrating her time at Cedar Court with cherished memories and laughter that will be treasured forever. We extend our sincere gratitude to the volunteers, Hy-Vee for catering the event, and Fareway for providing the delectable Fruit and Veggie Trays.

🎃October at Cedar Court was a month of vibrant festivities as we prepared for our Halloween celebration. The autumnal atmosphere was filled with joy and creativity as everyone embraced the seasonal spirit. We commenced the month by adorning the space with spooky decorations, including jack-o'-lanterns and eerie lighting, which set the perfect ambiance. We hosted our 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat, engaged in spooky games, and featured our inaugural drumming performance with our chair yoga group. The highlight of the month was the thrilling Great Pumpkin Stealing Contest, where residents began with five pumpkins on their doors and were encouraged to steal and replace them, with the catch being that if caught, they had to return the pumpkin. At the end of the month, the residents with the most pumpkins won a prize.
🎃On Halloween, we enjoyed a spectacular performance and our monthly Cedar Buck Auction, accompanied by delicious food and refreshments.
