To Donna and Sydney: thank you for your vulnerability, strength, and willingness to turn lived experience into life-saving education.

To the Waubonsee Valley High School students: thank you for listening, reflecting, and reminding us that compassion begins with understanding.

If you’re interested in bringing Serenity House’s prevention and education programming to your school or community, we’d love to connect.

DuPage ROSC Needs YOU!

Our neighbors who are unhoused deserve dignity, warmth, and basic essentials. We are currently seeking donations to support harm reduction and outreach efforts throughout DuPage County.

We are collecting:
• Warm weather clothing: New or gently used coats, hats, gloves, socks, and other winter gear

• Travel-sized toiletries: Toothbrush/toothpaste, floss, deodorant, hand/body wipes, q-tips, and hygiene essentials

• Snacks: Granola bars, fruit snacks, trail mix, dried fruit/nuts, individually wrapped non-perishable food

• First aid supplies: Gauze, bandages, Neosporin, first-aid kits, and similar items

All donations go directly toward supplies for unhoused individuals and harm reduction outreach programs. Every item makes a difference.

Tomorrow!! Join us on our DuPage ROSC Community Partner Tour (in person or via zoom).

Our next stop brings us to the DuPage County Coroner’s Office.

We’re grateful to Coroner Judith Lukas for being a strong ally in recovery-oriented systems of care. Tomorrow’s visit is an opportunity to learn more about the important work happening within the Coroner’s Office and to share insights from our recent Community Needs Assessment.

Collaboration across systems strengthens prevention, response, and recovery efforts throughout DuPage County, and ultimately helps save lives.
