Dr. Sandy Kopp is a board-certified Anesthesiologist with advanced fellowship training in regional anesthesia. She completed her medical education and postgraduate training at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, including a fellowship in Regional Anesthesia, residency training in Anesthesiology, and a preliminary residency and internship in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Kopp is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and has been widely recognized for excellence in both clinical care and medical education. She received the Distinguished Clinician Award in 2006 and the Distinguished Educator Award in 2008 from the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine, reflecting her dual commitment to patient-centered care and the advancement of anesthesiology training.

A respected leader in her field, Dr. Kopp is actively involved in national professional organizations. She currently serves as President-Elect of the Board of Directors for the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine and as an Ex Officio Board Member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists Committee on Specialty Societies.

Her leadership and expertise continue to shape the future of regional anesthesia, pain medicine, and perioperative care. We're excited to welcome Dr. Kopp as our February Grand Rounds speaker!
