My journey began caring for others in her teenage years; as a hospital volunteer. I spent 9 years of my bedside nursing career in cardiac critical care, cardiothoracic surgery, and heart transplant; caring and advocating for those in need. I have been employed by multiple top healthcare systems (Wake Forest Baptist, Emory University Hospital, and Novant). I graduated with her Master’s in Nursing from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in 2011 as a Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP-C). I found my calling in hospital internal medicine, taking care of critically ill patients. She decided to pursue her education further and obtained her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. I am credentialed by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and supported jointly by the North Carolina Board of Nursing, the Virginia Board of Nursing as well as the North Carolina and Virginia Medical Board. I also hold advanced certifications in medical aesthetics (neurotoxin and dermal fillers), IV therapeutics, and critical care nursing.
After experiencing a continued loss of patients during the Covid-19 pandemic, I decided to establish her own independent tele-health practice. The main goal of opening my own practice was to provide early intervention and treatment to my patients so that healing can happen quicker and easier. My heart is full when people look and feel their best. Connecting the ideas and philosophies of how wellness, health maintenance, disease and health management care is approached is how Graceful Beautie Health & Wellness was born. Outside of the office and daily hustle, I enjoy traveling and her bags are always packed.
