Cleora Fire had a great time at the Cleora parade & Ketchum parade. Seeing all the smiles and excitement of everyone makes what we do worth it every day at all hours.

Training on December 2, 2025, we went over SCBA, Bunker Gear refresher and how to put on the gear. The goal was to put bunker gear on in 1 minute, then SCBA on air in another minute. One of our newer firefighters was able to get their gear on in 36 seconds, very proud of all our firefighters and the dedication they have to learn and do better for our community.

December 6th, 2025 was a Cleora fire Christmas party. A great time with some of our firefighters who could make it along with their families. This is our favorite time of the year because we get together and are a big family. We would also like to thank Grand Meridian for allowing us to use their facilities every year for our Christmas party.

A strong cold front today will move across Oklahoma elevating fire danger as gusty winds and dry conditions develop. Please avoid outdoor activities that may spark a wildfire!
Elevated fire weather will continue both Friday and Saturday afternoons holding high to very-high fire danger indices in place. Cold front and north winds today, Dry-Return Flow and south winds tomorrow, then another cold front with north winds on Saturday. Given the dynamic succession of weather patterns, please avoid outdoor burning activities through this period.

1st Cleora Parade turned out great thank you everyone who participated and showed up for the parade let’s make it a hit next year as well. Thank you for who recorded the parade as well.

Reminder, tonight is the night of the 1st Cleora Christmas parade, so bring out the first responder trucks, decorated golf carts, floats, and antique cars. Everyone comes out to see it. Let’s make this a great 1st parade and improve it every year.

Things that will be in the parade will line up at 6:30pm at the storage unit then we will go out by the donkey horse pen, proceed east on the Meridian, then take the west, go north to the Y, then will turn right, then go to the north end of Lincoln, then come from the backside entrance to the shop. Parade will start at 7:00pm

The road by kahoots is back open.

Cleora Fire was just notified by ODOT that the road will be closed by dollar general and kahoots for them to work on it tomorrow morning 12/9/25.
