One thing we often hear: “I didn’t know we could do that.” Funerals don’t have to follow a strict formula. Many people are surprised to learn that funerals don’t have to look one specific way. Services don’t have to be traditional. Gatherings can happen days, or even weeks later. Music, photos, and personal touches are encouraged. A service can and should be shaped to reflect the life being honored.

Our pick? Mastering the fitted sheet fold (with a little help from YouTube). Sometimes learning something new is less about perfection and more about giving yourself the chance to try.

A funeral director helps coordinate paperwork, communicate with cemeteries and clergy, guide families through their options, and take care of details most people don’t even realize exist. Our role is to help things feel a little more manageable, when they otherwise might not.
