“1 DTaP vaccine paralyzed my son.” Nash Mom

Meet Nash: The Story Every Parent Needs to See — Because “Polio” Never Went Away, They Just Renamed It

On January 21, 2021, Nash was a perfectly healthy, thriving 6-month-old. He received one DTaP vaccine — the same shot millions of parents are told is “routine” and “completely safe.”

Thirteen days later, on February 4, 2021, Nash woke up paralyzed from the neck down.

Read that again.
Thirteen days. Healthy baby → total paralysis.

Here’s the timeline his parents lived through:
• He woke from a nap with purple lips, abnormal breathing, extreme lethargy, and no movement in his arms.
• His sitter reacted FAST — called 911, and he was rushed to the hospital.
• All initial tests — labs, X-rays, CT — were normal.
• But his MRI told the truth:
His spinal cord was inflamed from top of the neck to mid-back.
The inflammation was crushing the very nerves that allow breathing and movement.

Doctors explained exactly what happened:
His immune system triggered a hyper-immune reaction that attacked his own spinal cord.
They said it’s a form of myelitis — a condition that can follow infections…
and can also follow a vaccine.

His mother was even told directly:

“A vaccine can cause this.”
She was shocked to hear a doctor say it out loud.

And here’s the part no one wants to talk about:

THIS IS POLIO.

Just not the version they admit to.

We still see this today — constantly — but under new names:
• Acute flaccid myelitis
• Transverse myelitis
• Acute flaccid paralysis
• Guillain-Barré
• “Hyper immune response”
• “Post-infectious paralysis”
• “Idiopathic myelitis”

It’s the same paralysis, the same mechanism (immune attack on the spinal cord), the same outcome…
They just don’t call it “polio” anymore.
And when it’s triggered by a vaccine?
They quietly call it a “rare reaction.”

Nash’s mother said it best:
“1 DTaP vaccine paralyzed my son.”
Aka… vaccine-induced polio.

His story went viral to 12.1 million people on TikTok, and it has already saved countless babies because parents finally recognized the signs early.

Now it’s 2025, and his family is still fighting:
They filed with the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) in 2021.
Their medical examiner recently testified that the vaccine was the cause.
The federal government is now filing its rebuttal.
They’re praying for justice so Nash can receive the equipment and care he needs that insurance refuses to cover.

Nash deserves it. Every child does.
Families like his deserve to be heard, not silenced.
And parents deserve to know that “polio” didn’t disappear — they just changed the labels.

Nash was perfectly healthy on January 21st.
Paralyzed thirteen days later.
That is not a coincidence.
That is a cause.
