🎄✨ Christmas Party + Awards Night Recap ✨🎄

Such a great night celebrating Christmas with this team — good food, lots of laughs, and a chance to recognize some truly deserving people.

We handed out several awards that mean a lot to our practice:
• Best New Employee Award – for hitting the ground running and making an immediate impact
• Dr. Matt Edwards Award – given to the best kids of an optometrist (a very exclusive and highly competitive category 😉)
• Tom Edwards Best Optician Award – recognizing skill, dedication, and excellence in patient care
• Charlotte Edwards Above & Beyond Award – for consistently doing more than expected
• Dr. M. Scott Edwards Distinguished Service Award – honoring long-term commitment, service, and leadership

The awards were fun, but the bigger takeaway is how grateful I am for this group. The heart, professionalism, and teamwork you bring every day are what make this office special. These photos and videos capture the smiles — but not nearly all the appreciation I have for this team.

We want to give a big shoutout to Karley Jo Rose for all her hard work at Edwards Eye Care this summer! 👏

From greeting patients to helping with screenings and assisting our staff, Karley brought a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a smile that brightened the whole office.

She’s now headed back to East Carolina University 💜💛 to continue her studies, and we know she’s destined for great things.

Thank you, Karley, for being such an important part of our team this summer — we’ll miss you! Best of luck this school year! 📚✨
