High-Protein Horchata Muffins Recipe
These High-Protein Performance muffins pack 50g of protein in the batch while keeping carbs controlled and fats balanced so they actually support your training! Man these are some tasty treats!
Ingredients:�-31g Whey protein isolate (horchata flavor )
-100g Egg whites
-30g Oat flour
-60g Non fat greek yogurt
-15g Almond butter
-8g Coconut oil
-0.5 tsp Baking powder
-0.25 tsp Salt
-0.5 tsp Vanilla extract
-1 tsp Cinnamon
-1 tbsp Sugar free syrup
Protein Icing:
-18g Whey protein isolate (vanilla)
-40g Non fat greek yogurt
-1 tsp Monk fruit sweetener
Instructions:
-Preheat oven to 350°F.
-Mix all main ingredients until smooth.
-In a separate small bowl, mix cinnamon swirl ingredients.
-Pour batter into mini muffin tin or ramekin.
-Swirl cinnamon mixture into batter.
-Bake 10–12 minutes.
-Dip muffins into icing.
-Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
-Drip sugar free syrup on top.
-Take a massive bite and enjoy!
