Do you have a case of the Sunday Scaries?

According to LinkedIn 80% of professionals polled experience anticipatory dread before their work week!

Symptoms can include:

Anxiety or stress
Somatic symptoms like stomachache
Feelings of knots in stomach

Some behaviors include:

Checking work emails on Sunday to “get ahead”

Inability to enjoy Sunday because distracted by work

If this sounds familiar, practice unplugging from work completely on the weekend.

When you feel a touch of the Sunday dread coming on, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and imagine yourself in a place that brings you calm or peace.

Will it be the ocean? Mountains? Space? A field of wildflowers?
