Our team showed up in BLUE this past Friday 💙

In recognition of Colorectal (Colon) Cancer Awareness Month, our staff proudly wore blue to help raise awareness about the importance of early detection and prevention.

Colorectal cancer is the 2nd deadliest cancer—but it’s also one of the most preventable with routine screenings. We’re proud to stand together in support of our patients, families, and community.

If you’re 45 or older, it’s time to get screened. Don’t wait—early detection saves lives.

📞 Call us at (803) 380-7000 to schedule your screening today.

Rural Health Services is proud to announce that it has been awarded Gold status in the Advocacy Center of Excellence (ACE) Program for 2026-2028!

By becoming an ACE, Rural Health Services is committed to integrating advocacy into our organization's mission and operation to ensure our health center, the patients we serve, and the community at large have a voice in critical policy decisions.

An Advocacy Center of Excellence (ACE) is a Community Health Center that creates a culture of advocacy to ensure that policymakers at all levels of government commit to investing in the affordable, equitable, and innovative care that health centers provide. ACE levels--bronze, silver, and gold-- recognize consistent engagement and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to making advocacy an organizational priority. As an ACE, RHS actively partners with the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) on federal policy issues and the South Carolina Primary Health Care Association (SCPHCA) on key local-level policy issues impacting our health center and patients.

March is Colorectal (Colon) Cancer Awareness Month 💙

Did you know colorectal cancer is the 2nd deadliest cancer—and cases are rising in people under 50? While those 50+ are at higher risk, screenings can start as early as age 45.

The good news? When caught early, colorectal cancer is highly treatable. That’s why getting screened is so important.

If you’re 45 or older (or have risk factors), don’t wait—talk to your provider and take that next step for your health today.

📞 Call us at (803) 380-7000 to schedule your screening.

Your health matters. Early detection saves lives. 💙
