Kitfox Pediatric Dentistry Dr. Thomas Akins is a board certified pediatric dentist providing care tailored to infants, children Dr. Thom grew up in the small town of Dublin, Georgia.

After graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech, he worked as an engineer for nearly 7 years. He then decided to attend dental school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. It was while in his pediatric dental residency in Augusta that he met his wife Anna. Dr. Thom and Anna have lived in the Atlanta suburbs for the past 7 years where they started a family and Dr. Thom worked as an associate in a large pediatric dental practice. Suburbia was fine for a season, but now it is time for something a bit more peaceful. The small town atmosphere and cosmopolitan offerings unique to Aiken have Dr. Thom excited to provide dental care to Aiken’s children, to become part of the community, and to rear his children in this gorgeous city.

It is officially the month of LOVE! 💖 We love our patients and want to protect not only their smiles, but their overall health as well. In an effort to do this we are requesting all care givers and chauffeurs honor our smoke and aerosol free policy to keep everyone as safe as possible while in our care.

Holidays are for family time and we hope yours has an amazing holiday season!

We are grateful for the opportunity we have to share moments in your children's lives and look forward to seeing their smiling faces in the New Year.

If you would like to schedule or need to reschedule an appointment send us an email or leave us a voicemail and we will respond on January 5th, 9am-4pm. We resume normal clinic hours on Tuesday January 6th at 8am.
