✨ Welcoming Shevon Bennett, LISW-S — Now Accepting New Clients ✨

We are so excited to introduce Shevon Bennett, LISW-S, as one of the newer members of our Tranquility team. Shevon brings a warm, open-minded, and truly “come as you are” approach to therapy. She takes time to understand each person individually and goes above and beyond working with you to tailor treatment plans to your unique needs and goals.

Shevon has extensive experience supporting teens and adults through a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, crisis/safety planning, substance use, chronic pain and illness, ADHD, ASD, LGBTQ+ support, developmental disabilities, and major life transitions. Her compassionate, grounded presence makes her a wonderful fit for clients seeking a safe space to heal and grow.

Did you know the first Wednesday in November is National Stress Awareness Day? Stress affects not only our minds, but our bodies — from sleep disruption to muscle tension to digestion. Recognizing stress is the first step.
Here are 4 coping tools you can try today:

1. Box breathing (inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 4, hold 4)

2. Progressive muscle relaxation (scan and release tension)

3. Mindful walk — notice 5 things around you

4. Journaling prompt: ‘What’s one stress I can soften today, and how?’
