Our Story
Summit Natural Wellness Center was founded in 2003 by Dr. Parasson. This clinic was one of the first Naturopathic wellness centers in the state of Ohio. Since that time we have had the pleasure of serving thousands of satisfied patients with our uniquely “individualized approach” to healthcare. Over the last decade, the clinic has evolved into a multidisciplinary practice with two Naturopathic Physicians, a Nutritionist, a Personal Trainer, a Massage Therapist, a Colon Hydrotherapist, an Acupuncturist, and an Esthetician. At Summit Natural Wellness Center we believe in an “Integrative Medicine” approach to your healthcare needs. By blending the best of Conventional Medicine with science-based Naturopathic and Functional Medicine, our approach gives you, the patient, the best chance for optimal health and long term wellness.
Located in the Merriman Valley of northwest Akron, the clinic offers a tranquil environment and is surrounded by beautiful Sand Run Metro Park and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Summit Natural Wellness Center is centrally located about 30 minutes from Canton and Cleveland and easily accessible from interstate 77. We also have numerous patients from neighboring states and for convenience offer long distance phone consultations for our out of state patients.
