CLOSED MONDAY, JANUARY 26th, 2025

After careful consideration of road conditions, the current Level 2 emergency status, widespread school closures, and staffing limitations, we have decided to close our Day Program tomorrow.

Even if road conditions continue to improve, many of our staff are unable to safely travel or will be home caring for their children due to school closures. To ensure the safety of our participants, families, and staff, closure is the most responsible decision.

At this time, we do expect to be open on Tuesday, barring any unforeseen changes.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Please stay safe, and we will see everyone soon.

Hi everyone,
I wanted to share a quick update regarding Monday and the expected snow and ice.
At this time, we are planning to remain open on Monday. That said, we will be closely monitoring weather conditions, road safety, and emergency levels throughout the weekend and into Monday morning. If conditions worsen or become unsafe due to snow and ice, we will make the decision to close or adjust operations as needed.
The safety of our staff and the people we support is always our top priority. We will communicate any changes as early as possible, so please keep an eye on your phone and email for updates.
Thank you all for yoir flexibility and understanding, especially during unpredictable weather.
Stay safe and warm,
Kaiela

How do you thank someone who has given over 8 years of their life to selflessly serve such an amazing population of adults so willingly and every day with a smile on her face?

How do you thank her for coming in early each day to make sure she was prepared?
For creating a relationship with all of her participants in her group that was so tight she could instantly know if something was amiss.

How do you thank her for being so creative that she kept her group fun and festive year-round, and the creativity just kept on flowing! For inspiring her participants to use their imagination as well, and to shoot for the stars.

How do you thank her for being a reliable staff member, coming in on time daily (usually 30 minutes early), hardly taking days off, hardly calling off, being a role model to new staff, and taking on any assignment with grace?

How do you thank someone who was a guide to you personally, teaching you how to be a good person, be kind, and respect others? For being an ear to listen to at any time!

For all of these reasons, and many more, CCNEO is going to miss SUE so much! Thank you for committing 8.5 years to your group, to the people you serve, and to the agency you have committed your time to. There are not enough thanks in the world!

Please enjoy these pics below of "last hugs". We hope you come and visit us often, because if that was our actual last hug, then I am not sure we could all handle that!😉 🥰💞
