Akron Concrete Products is a fourth-generation, family-owned business that specializes in providing quality funeral products and services to funeral professionals and the families they serve.
Our company is seeking an Office Manager to coordinate administrative tasks, while serving the public at the reception desk. This job requires an individual with a high level of organization, excellent communication and management skills, and the ability to work effectively with employees as well as external parties. We are looking for a reliable individual to help us enhance our abilities and achieve our goals. Some administrative and personal assistant tasks will be included as well.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Oversee the office area
-Greet employees and visitors
-Answer telephone calls and emails
-Handle customer orders and customer service
-Create spreadsheets and other documents for data entry and basic AP/AR tasks
-Maintain employee files
-Filing and general paper and digital organization
-Sales admin tasks
-Other tasks as requested by the leadership team
REQUIREMENTS:
-Available to cover reception 5 days/week in Akron, IN
-5+ years of customer facing and administrative experience
-Adept at Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-Proficient in Quickbooks
-Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
-Proven record of wearing multiple hats, multi-tasking, working independently, and multi-tasking

Interview process will be multi-step and include providing a writing sample. Full-time position with salary dependent on qualifications and experience.

Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
