Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities
Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
Complete daily documentation
Follow daily shift tasks
Collaborate with clients and families for best care opportunities
Maintain a healthy, clean, and comfortable living environment

Qualifications:

Previous experience in personal care or other related fields preferred but not required
Compassionate and caring demeanor
Ability to build rapport with clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to arrive to scheduled shift on timeAt least 1 year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Valid State Identification or Drivers License
At least 18 years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent.
CPR certified or the ability to be CPR certified
Obtain the Direct Support Professional Annual Training via the Ohio DODD
Complete Background Check

Hiring : Adult Day Program Assistant
Salary
$17/hrly

Job Description

Oversee the daily operations of the adult day center
Assist with ADLs as indicated in the individuals plan
Will assist in planning, conducting, and supervising therapeutic and social activities
Participate in program activities
Participate in developing and revising client plans of care
Assist in completing housekeeping duties
Complete yearly continuing education requirements
Keep records up-to-date and organized

Requirements

At least 1 year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
Valid State Identification or Drivers License
At least 18 years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent.
CPR certified or the ability to be CPR certified
Obtain the Direct Support Professional Annual Training via the Ohio DODD
