Thank you to everyone who signed up to be a part of our CFM Akron heart walk team or donated. We just got the announcement that Akron has postponed all public gatherings over the weekend. The Akron heart walk is postponed. A future walk date will be announced.

 “The American Heart Association’s Greater Akron Heart Walk, along with other large public gatherings, has been canceled by Akron Mayor Shammas Malik due to safety concerns raised by city council members. We are working to determine an alternate date to celebrate the Heart Walk and will communicate that with our walkers in the coming days.”

Our first class of residents will soon be graduating from the transformative care continuum accelerated program through a partnership with Cleveland Clinic and Ohio University Heritage College of osteopathic medicine. Congratulations to all of our graduates. 

It is a partnership between Cleveland Clinic and Ohio University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine.
