We are not here to look pretty, but if you want real results from your training there is no other place. Women are welcome. Make no mistake, we are that gym !

For nearly 30 years, hardcore training with a friendly atmosphere has always been the focal point at The Body Builders Inc. The philosophy of BBI has always been simple and straightforward: Whether for bodybuilding, powerlifting, olympic lifting, a sport of choice, or simply to get in the best shape possible, BBI is the only gym . Heavy duty equipment, heavy weights, heavy, loud music, no carpet, no plants, no tanning beds, no elevator music —you get the picture. You need to work out in a gym with state and national level bodybuilders. You need to work out in a gym with state, national, and world class powerlifters. You need to work out in a gym with the best training environment in the country. You need to work out in a gym to make the best gains of your life.

The 9th annual For Lindsay+ fundraising event is a virtual 4-miler that will take place during the entire month of October. This event is in memory of Lindsay Giannobile, daughter of original BBI owners, Pep & Angela Wahl. Walk, run, bike or even just gather - however you choose to show up is entirely up to you. Choose your day, post a picture and use the hashtag . Proceeds will benefit Pink Ribbon Good and go directly toward meals for metastatic breast cancer families in central Ohio.

Lindsay was a hero to other breast cancer warriors throughout her own battle, and continues to uphold this title for those still in the fight, even in her absence. Originally this event was a 5k, and in 2023, it transitioned to a 4-miler, with the extra mile in memory of Angela Wahl, who passed away after a 9-year battle with breast cancer. The "+" was added at the end of For Lindsay, in memory of Angela, as well as so many other brave women in similar circumstances.

Dear Bodybuilders Inc. Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of Bodybuilders Inc., effective October 28th, 2025. The building that has been our home since June 1979 has been purchased by a development company for the creation of an industrial park. This decision was extremely difficult to make. After Pep's much deserved retirement Fred purchased and kept it running, bought new equipment, even painted, because he, like many of us, incorporated it into our lives and hoped it would be around forever. We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who has walked through our doors over the years.

Bodybuilders Inc. has been more than just a gym; it has been a place where lifelong friendships have formed, where champions have been made, and where countless memories have been created. From national and world bodybuilding and powerlifting winners to everyday heroes who have pushed their limits, this gym has seen it all. You are not just members; you are family.

As we prepare to close our doors, we want to take a moment to celebrate the incredible journey we’ve shared. We’ve been “kicking sand in your face since 1979,” and there truly hasn’t been "any other place" like Bodybuilders Inc. The energy, the dedication, and the camaraderie you’ve brought to this space have made it truly special.

We encourage everyone to come in and say goodbye, to share stories, and to reminisce about the good times we’ve had together. Your presence here has made Bodybuilders Inc. what it is, and for that, we are forever grateful.

Thank you for being part of the Bodybuilders Inc. family. Though our physical location may be closing, the spirit of this gym and the bonds we’ve formed will live on. We hope to see you all soon, and remember—there’s no other place quite like it.
