IBH Addiction Recovery is powered by an incredible team of compassionate professionals who bring their unique strengths to our mission every day. Today, we’re proud to spotlight Sandy Minnick, our Housekeeper and Laundry Aid.

Sandy plays a vital role in keeping our main campus clean, organized, and welcoming for both clients and staff. She also assists with the intake process—sorting, organizing, and preparing items for individuals as they begin their treatment journey.

When asked what she loves most about her work, Sandy shared: “Being able to watch and help clients grow into better people. I love my IBH clients—and I love my IBH family.”

Thank you for everything you do, Sandy. We’re grateful for your heart, your hard work, and the care you bring to IBH Addiction Recovery every day.

We were honored to welcome Representatives Derrick Hall and Veronica Sims, and Senator Casey Weinstein to our main campus this week.

Our leadership team — Anthony Henderson, CFO; Meredith Myers, Chief Clinical Officer; and Jess Rist, CEO — had the opportunity to share how IBH Addiction Recovery provides life-changing drug and alcohol addiction treatment services to individuals and families in our community.

We appreciate their time, engagement, and continued support of programs that help more people find hope and healing through recovery.

With the ongoing government shutdown, SNAP payments were not made on November 1, creating an immediate shortfall for IBH Addiction Recovery.

More than 40% of our food and dietary supply expenses are covered by SNAP benefits—$9.94 per residential client per day—funds that allow our culinary team to prepare nutritious, home-cooked meals for every client receiving our highest level of care.

These meals are essential to the healing process as they help restore health, stabilize moods, and rebuild strength during recovery.

We are calling on our community to help us bridge this gap. Your support today will help us continue to provide nourishing meals without interruption.
