Holiday Season Wellness Reminder from Riverstone Counseling's Erin West PhD, LPCC
✨ The holiday season can be joyful and overwhelming, especially for parents of young children. Between gatherings, expectations, travel, and disrupted routines, it's easy to lose sight of your own wellbeing. Here are a few gentle reminders to maintain your calm this holiday season:

☀️ Protect Your Energy
It's ok to say no. Set boundaries that honor your time, peace, and emotional needs.
☕ Keep A Little Bit of Routine
Small anchors like a short walk, your morning coffee, a shower, or proper sleep can help you feel grounded
😊 Be Kind to Yourself
Holidays aren't about perfection, they're about presence

If you need support this holiday season our team is here to help, give us a call today ☎️ 234-200-6621

🍃 Your mid-week reminder that progress isn’t always loud. 🍃
Sometimes progress looks like:
✨Saying no without guilt
✨Getting out of bed when it’s hard
✨Taking a deep breath instead of reacting
✨Choosing rest instead of burnout

Healing can be quiet, slow, and full of small wins that add up over time.
At Riverstone Counseling we're privileged to have a front-row seat to client progress every day.

Change is hard, even the good kind.
As counselors we see it every day; growth often feels uncomfortable before it feels empowering. Whether you’re setting boundaries, healing old wounds, or stepping into something new, be patient with yourself. You’re not behind, you’re becoming.

Introducing Riverstone Counseling! Meet our founder, Randy Moate, Ph.D., LPCC (OH), LPC (TX) - ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS!

For the past 10 years I’ve worked as a professional counselor and professor who teaches students to become professional counselors.

These experiences have taught me how to connect with people from all walks of life, to know what works and does not work in counseling, and how to create positive experiences for my clients.

I specialize in working with anxiety, chronic stress, depression, grief, loss, and difficult life transitions (e.g., divorce, career changes, strained relationships with friends and family).

I don’t believe in cookie-cutter approaches to counseling, because no two clients are alike. My approach to working with clients is unique to them and their presenting concerns. During a counseling session I am fully present with my clients, creating a warm, calming, non-judgmental atmosphere where they feel seen and heard. I walk alongside my clients to help them to overcome problems and unlock their potential. My expertise lies in drawing out the inner strengths and resources my clients already possess—they just haven’t realized it yet.

It’s my goal to empower clients to change into the person they want to become.
