We would like to thank the Northern Indiana Community Foundation for their continuous support. The Akron Lions Club was awarded a $2,500 township grant for supplies for our future Sleep in Heavenly Peace warehouse space right here in Akron!

This warehouse space is being generously donated by a local businessman, and we can’t thank them enough! We love our Akron community!

We were able to help out the chamber of commerce this past Saturday at the annual Town of Akron egg hunt!

On March 23rd, the Akron Lions Club made a $1,350.00 donation to Compassionate Health Care Center in Fulton County. Compassionate Health Care Center is an organization that provides underserved and uninsured adults of Fulton County with high quality healthcare services. The Akron Lions have helped support this mission in the community for decades now. We want to thank those who have continuously supported us in serving the community.

We want to give a special shout out to Lion Orville and his wife Julie Reese for hand making and donating these beautiful quilts for children receiving beds through Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Their hard work is going to give many children comfort and happiness! Thank you Lion Orville and Julie!
