TherapySouth Alabaster Hwy 119 provides hands-on, quality physical therapy care to the community.

We are a faith based private practice outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic serving Shelby County - including Alabaster, Pelham, Helena, Montevallo, Columbiana, & Calera. We treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal dysfunctions including orthopedic injuries and postoperative care, sports rehab, balance, vestibular and concussion rehab, headaches, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, and chronic pain.

Our newest addition to the team is Ashlyn. Ashlyn has been with TherapySouth for 2 years but made the move to Alabaster at the beginning of 2026. She is already making her mark as a driven therapist that cares deeply for her patients. We are so excited to have her as part of the TherapySouth Alabaster family!

Next up, Abbey Wingate! Through the rollercoaster of starting and establishing a new clinic, Abbey has been a constant. She provides high level care to all of her patients and develops lasting relationships that allows her to not only take care of their physical injuries but to walk with them through stages of life.

If you have shoulder pain with reaching overhead or lifting things, this post is for you. Rotator cuff related pain is very often able to be cured with conservative treatment. This includes a plan put together by our therapists to modify activity temporarily and to specifically target your shoulders unique deficits so you can get back to what matters faster.

Physical therapy can help with so many different things. From head to toe, muscle, bone, and neurologic. We’ve loved getting out into the community to spread that message and connect through health fairs.
