Edited to add: for those of saying we are lying, this post is outdate from UAB, however it is STILL relevant. The er is for emergencies please do your best to use it for that. Real emergencies should not have to wait on someone with the sniffles needing a flu/covid test. Think about if this was your family member. Turning comments off because some of you are just downright hateful!

Please stay out of the ER for COVID and flu! We are open 9-4 and can get you seen quickly. We can even give you IV fluids!
