St. Patrick’s Day was festive with holiday decorations in the dining room and residents wearing the green buttons that they made. Irish songs sung by the Rockridge Chorale Singers were a real treat!

The morning flew by on our visit to the Oakland Aviation Museum. We watched an engrossing film on the history of the Oakland Airport and saw some amazing planes! Afterward, a few of the crew carried on and lunched at Jim’s Diner.

We had a great time in the CA history gallery of the Oakland Museum. There were new exhibits to see, and of course we had to sample the wares at the cafe for lunch. John declared his the best hamburger he’s had!
