Calling in kānaka ʻōiwi who work in healing spaces—with words, with plants, with hands, with presence.
Through counseling, tinctures, herbal remedies, traditional practices, energy work, teaching, guiding, caregiving, and more.

There is no single path.
No hierarchy of modalities.
No requirement to explain or prove yourself.

Many of us remembered our gifts
after a big life transition.
Loss. Parenthood. Illness. Caregiving. Awakening.

Many of us carry multiple lineages.
Many of us learned later in life.
All of us are navigating how to show up with care, integrity, and aloha.

Let’s connect!

This gathering is about:
• setting clear intentions for the year ahead
• grounding your nervous system
• receiving Reiki and gentle hypnosis (positive suggestion)
• reconnecting with ancestors, intuition, and inner guidance
• being in community — no performing, just presence

Children and animals are always welcome in this space 🐾👦🏽👶🏽

Our ancestors did not survive colonization, punishment, and near erasure so their descendants could be shamed by one another.

This post is a reminder—especially now—that being Hawaiian is not something you earn through performance, productivity, or visibility.

If you have kanaka ʻōiwi ancestry,
if this is your bloodline,
that is enough.

Kuleana is real. Accountability matters.
But accountability is not the same as shaming.
Accountability protects the lāhui.
Shaming fractures it.

Many of our families experienced interruption—knowledge hidden, practices silenced, language suppressed—because survival required it. Not everyone was taught. Not everyone had elders who could pass things down. That does not make anyone less Hawaiian.

This is a kākou thing.
Not comparison. Not competition.

If you haven’t fully stepped into your kuleana yet, now is a good time to begin. Our people need many kinds of contributions—time, resources, skills, care, creativity. And if you’re unsure where you fit, talk with another Hawaiian. Ask questions. Learn in relationship. You don’t have to figure it out alone.

Being Hawaiian is not something to defend.
It is something to be proud of.

🌱Being Hawaiian.
💚That is enough.

Hawaiians come from a lineage of builders, thinkers, diplomats, and stewards.

Our ancestors established systems of governance, education, aquaculture, and land stewardship that sustained entire communities — not in theory, but in lived practice.

Before the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi was illegally overthrown in 1893, it functioned as an advanced, sovereign nation — educated, organized, and globally respected.

What was taken wasn’t potential.
It was a functioning nation.

That intelligence, resilience, and ʻike were not erased. It lives on in our culture, our kuleana, and in how Hawaiians continue to show up for ʻāina, ʻohana, and each other.

“I ka wā ma mua, ka wā ma hope.”
(The future is found in the past.)

PERPETUATE HAWAIIAN CULTURE 🌱💪🏽🤙🏽

From the bottom of my heart—
I love you, Hawaiian.

As a lāhui…
We don’t always agree.
We come from different upbringings,
different mixes,
different ways of moving through the world.
But unity doesn’t require sameness.

It asks for care.
It asks for responsibility.
It asks that Hawaiian culture remains part of our living story—

not just something we reference,
but something we protect and carry forward.

This isn’t about calling out.
It’s about calling in.
Calling us back to each other.
Calling us back to kuleana.

I love you, Hawaiians—
near, far, and still finding your way. 🌊🤍

This is a CALL IN, not a call out.

A reminder for Hawaiians near and far—
that our kuleana isn’t measured in visibility,
but in how we show up for our ʻohana and the lāhui,

how we honor our ancestors,
how we teach and protect our keiki,
and what we leave for the next generation.

Less performance.
More purpose.

—————————

May Ke Akua protect and guide the lāhui to harmony and healing, and bless all Hawaiians on Earth. 💛🙏🏽
