I’ve lived military life for more than 2 decades, supporting families navigating deployments, trainings, PCS moves, and all the unique challenges that come with growing a family in the military.

In addition to the over 50 births I’ve attended, I’ve invested deeply in my education and training to provide the highest level of care:

This incredible mama labored with so much courage, intention, and advocacy. She asked questions, trusted her instincts, and when the plan needed to shift, she made her decision with love and clarity, and brought her baby into the world with the strongest kind of strength: informed choice.

There is space here for both celebration and grief — for the joy of a healthy baby in arms, and the tender feelings that come when birth takes a different turn than hoped. Both truths can exist. Both deserve to be honored.
