‼️Please share!!! Very important notice. ‼️

Do to recent prescription insurance scrutiny of retail pharmacies we must begin a more stringent approach for prescriptions not picked up in a timely manner. Industry standard requires rx's not picked up within 14 days to be reversed with insurance and returned to stock. In the past we have reached out at the 14th day. Going forward, to avoid penalties, we will begin notifying customers of need for pickup at 10 days. We will hold scripts upon request at time of notification for 2 additional days. If not picked up rx's will be returned to stock. Please understand, this is driven by insurance companies not Sanders Drug. Thank you for your continued support of your hometown pharmacy.

E-Scripts from the doctor’s offices require 30-60 minutes to arrive at the pharmacy before processing can begin. Once we get the script it can take up to another 30-60 minutes to complete.


Please advise us of any new insurance at the time you call or turn in a prescription request.
