We are closely monitoring the severe weather implications for tomorrow morning (3/16) and have notified all on call staff to expect a higher then normal call volume.

All active oxygen patients need to stay on stationary oxygen for as long as you have power and switch to portable oxygen only in the event of a power outage.

If you are without power for an extended period or are having a medical emergency please call 911

MRS locations in Albany, Americus, Columbus, Cordele, Fitzgerald, Moultrie, Thomasville, and Tifton will delay opening until 9:30 AM to ensure staff safety.

All other MRS locations will open at regular hours.

With dangerous low temperatures expected throughout the weekend, we want to remind all customers to use caution with oxygen around space heaters and open flames.
5 feet is the minimum safe distance to remember for all oxygen supplies.
Local warming shelters may be open in your area, check with local authorities as to avalibility and location.
As always our 24hr. On call staff will be able to respond to your needs!

If you want to discuss which MA plans we take please give us a call. Otherwise traditional Medicare is never a bad choice.

Medicare Open Enrollment is happening now through Dec. 7! UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage members should know that Tift Regional Medical Center and Southwell Medical are not in-network with UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage plans.

If you’re enrolled in one of these plans, you may want to consider switching to traditional Medicare or another Medicare Advantage plan that has an in-network participation agreement with Tift Regional and Southwell.

Congratulations to our CEO Tyler Riddle for being named to the Leadership Georgia class of 2026.

The Leadership Georgia Board of Trustees is proud to announce the participants selected for the organization’s Class of 2026. Each year, Leadership Georgia seeks out emerging leaders from every corner of the state and selects sixty-three participants from a pool of several hundred applicants to participate in the year-long leadership program.

The mission of Leadership Georgia is to prepare strong and effective leaders for the future development of our
great state. Over the course of the program year, the class participants will experience five immersive programs that examine critical issues facing rural and urban communities of Georgia. Together, the class participants of Leadership Georgia seek mutual understanding of the challenges of the state and the solutions developed and implemented to drive change and success for all Georgians.

The 2026 Leadership Georgia Class will be led by President Chandra Harris of Atlanta. “Resilient – Resourceful – Rising Higher” is the 2026 program theme.

In addition to his role at MRS and his community involvement, he currently serves as the President of the Georgia Association of Medical Equipment Suppliers.
