On National Caregivers Day, we honor the nurses, aides, direct support professionals, and family caregivers who show up every single day to provide comfort, safety, and dignity to those in their care.

In long-term care and assisted living communities, caregivers are the steady presence behind every medication pass, every late-night call, every reassuring conversation, and every small moment that makes a big difference.

Your compassion does not go unnoticed.
Your dedication does not go unappreciated.
And your impact reaches far beyond what you see each day.

From all of us at Capital Regional Pharmacy Services - thank you for the work you do and the lives you uplift!❤

Congratulations to Wildwood Programs on this incredible and well-deserved recognition! 👏

We’re inspired to see this important investment in aging in place and proactive planning for individuals with developmental disabilities. As life expectancy continues to rise, ensuring that residences and supports evolve alongside the people they serve is essential.

Aging with dignity, stability, and the comfort of home isn’t just a goal - it’s a responsibility we all share across the care continuum.

📣Big news! 📣
Wildwood is honored to be named a 2025-2026 grantee of the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation.

With a generous $210,000 grant, we are launching a proactive initiative to ensure our residences and facilities support aging in place.

Why this matters:
The gap in life expectancy between those with and without developmental disabilities has narrowed significantly - now averaging about six years as a result of better community-based care. 📈💚

As our community grows older, their homes and supports must evolve with them. This funding allows us to partner with experts to create a long-term action plan to ensure individuals we support can age with dignity from the comfort of their home. 🏠🌳🤝

Thank you Mother Cabrini Health Foundation for investing in the future of those we support!

Assisted Living Communities deserve a partner that is:

• Clinically accountable
• Proactively communicative
• Relentlessly reliable
• Focused on resident safety

Because medication management isn’t a background task. It’s a core part of quality care, staff confidence, and resident dignity.

At Capital Regional Pharmacy Services, we believe long-term care communities shouldn’t have to lower expectations to receive dependable pharmacy support. They should expect more and we’re here to deliver it!

This is what inclusion in action looks like! 💙

“Gliding Stars” is creating opportunities for individuals of all abilities to experience the joy of skating and the confidence that comes with it. Truly inspiring work happening right here in New York!

Near Buffalo, New York, a program called “Gliding Stars” is changing lives one skater at a time. The skaters have a range of disabilities, and the nonprofit provides adaptive equipment like special skates, walkers and slings so anyone can take the ice. NBC News’ Hallie Jackson has the story.
