With our new sign now in place, we are pleased to announce that the B Building Entrance at Albany Medical Center Hospital is open to the public every day from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. During these times, visitors can check in at Security for a visitors pass and use the B Building elevators to access to the hospital. The B Entrance is conveniently located near the corner of Myrtle Avenue and New Scotland Avenue.

As part of our strategic collaboration with fellow community-based health organizations Community Care Physicians and CDPHP, we cut the ribbon today on our new Rheumatology & Infusion Center in Suite 113 at Wellness Way in Latham. The new practice expands patient access to our highly regarded rheumatology and specialty care resources for both existing and new patients.

Rebecca Rogers, MD, chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Albany Medical Center, has been appointed president of the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons. A longtime member of the society and fellowship-trained urogynecologist, Dr. Rogers says she will focus on the human side of medicine, recognizing that people are at the center of health care—and that supporting care teams is key to delivering high-quality, safe care and advancing clinical excellence.
