My beautiful client had her eyebrows initially done back in 2022.
She had them retouched this July by another technician .
All technicians work differently. Unfortunately the third picture they were very saturated with color.
There’s only so much color that the skin can hold in one area .
They were too dark for her complexion, and I knew in her future that they would turn blue .
She asked if I could fix them. What I did was just added a warm skin tone.
Now it’s just time to see how they heal .

Everyone wants to feel beautiful for the holidays.
I’ve been contemplating bringing back eyelashes. It’s another addition to Genesis.
For the month of December, I’ll be offering a full set for $85.
Through the years, I’ve tried many types of glues. They only seem to last a couple weeks. Years ago, I found a long lasting glue. My clients would last almost 5 weeks.
If it goes well, I’ll figure out Permanent pricing .
I do more of a natural eyelash .
It’s been almost 20 years since I’ve had it on my menu!

Fun fact….
Back in 2005 I invented the eyelash rod. I went to a Tool and Die company in Ilion NY and had a prototype made. Patent pending and all. My lawyer at the time even did a Patent search.
It never got to a Patent because a Chinese Makeup manufacturing company said they already had one made!
🤷🏼‍♀️
How I got the idea was pretty funny. The kit that we used at the time contained rods that were flexible. Therefore, it picked up the skin.
I was hampmy daughter’s clothes on the little tiny hangers, and seeing the bend of the rod. I remember I told my children hang on mom’s going be busy for the weekend..
I cut all the rods, then I took my nail Dremel and filed them down.
The photo is the actual prototype.
They call it a “lash lift” now.

Another year is going to be a memory soon.
I was scrolling through old photos.
This was my very first brow and my very last brow so far .
Crazy how your technique changes, thank God for the better !

This song came on today while I was listening to Pandora .
 I had to watch the video. It seems so long ago. It just warmed my heart. So I’m sending a huge hug out for all those who need it right now ❤️
