General EMS Guidelines:

When interviewing a pt, please try to remain 6 ft from the pt .

Unless necessary only one provider to enter the pt's residence until additional staff is needed.

If the pt is able to walk, leave the stretcher outside and assist if needed

Limit the amount of providers that enter the home

Limit the amount of providers in the pt compartment

If you are dispatched to an known COVID -19 case, ONLY TWO providers are to go and follow PPE precautions.

Still continue to clean and disinfect the ambulance at the beginning of your shift and following each call.
