There’s nothing we love more than celebrating our Veranda Family — and today, we’re so excited to spotlight our very first senior, Chaney Nolan!

Chaney is the daughter of our own Shandy Nolan (Pediatric Manager) and Mitchell Nolan, and she’ll be graduating with honors from Terrell Academy in May 2026. She’s headed to Valdosta State University this fall to study Business.

Moments like these remind us that The Veranda is more than a workplace — it’s a family, and we’re honored to celebrate life’s biggest milestones together.

It’s time to spotlight one of our fabulous providers, April Reese, DNP, CNM, PMHNP-BC! April is a nurse practitioner specializing in women’s health and behavioral health, and we are so glad to have her on our team.

A little about her background:
April received her Associate of Science in Nursing right here in Albany at Albany State University, and then went on to get her Bachelor’s in nursing in nearby Americus. She then went on to Certified Nurse Midwife Program at Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing, then a Master of Science in Nursing at Case Western Reserve University, and then a Doctor of Nursing at Georgia Regent’s University in August. Even more recently, she got a Master’s Certificate Program as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Augusta University in Augusta. She has been working here at The Veranda since 2016.

In addition to her work here at The Veranda, April also served as the Dean of Nursing at Darton State College and as a staff nurse and assistant nurse manager at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
