Gina Mauro, L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist offering both private acupuncture care and community acupuncture at Therapeutic Evolution PT. Her work bridges physical, emotional, and nervous-system health, supporting pain relief, stress reduction, recovery, and whole-person wellness.

Gina sees private patients Tuesdays & Saturdays from 9am–3pm, offering individualized, in-depth treatments. On Tuesdays from 4pm–7pm, she hosts an Albany Community Acupuncture pop-up clinic, providing accessible, sliding-scale acupuncture in a relaxed group setting—making high-quality care available to more people.

Please Join me in welcoming our newest PT to Therapeutic Evolution PT! We are excited that Kavitha Kumari Russaliah has joined our practice.

Kavitha is a dedicated and compassionate physiotherapist with a strong commitment to helping people achieve better health and wellness. She believes in a holistic, patient-centered approach, combining clinical expertise with empathy and understanding to support her clients’ recovery and well-being.

She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in India and went on to earn her MSc in Health Sciences (Rehabilitation) from Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.

With over 10 years of experience across a variety of settings—including inpatient units and outpatient Neurorehabilitation—Kavitha has worked with both Northern Health and Fraser Health Authority in British Columbia, Canada.

Her growing passion for women’s health led her to recognize the vital role of pelvic floor rehabilitation in improving women’s quality of life. This inspired her to pursue advanced training in this specialized area and to contribute meaningfully to women’s wellness through her work at Therapeutic Evolution PT. She is dedicated to making a positive difference through education, prevention, and personalized care.

Outside of her professional life, Kavitha enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
