Wow my knife skills look amazing in this -😂

Ok, so I’m still a dork! and still no meal surpasses a good salad!

Many things as a kid I chose not to like because they were too mainstream- but salad……

Salad is in a world all its own.

What’s your quirky little hang up that makes you beautifully unique? Drop in the comments 😂😉💗

Art can be fun, but did you realize the biological benefits?

Sensory Stimulation: The sound of ripping (auditory) and the feel of the paper’s resistance (tactile/proprioceptive) activate sensory neurons and promote development.

Stress Regulation: Tactile art activities can lower stress hormones like cortisol and increase dopamine, which calms the nervous system.

Motor Planning: The brain must sequence complex actions—such as adjusting grip and force—which refines the central nervous system’s ability to execute future tasks.

Proprioception: Feeling the amount of force needed to tear different paper types helps the brain understand body position and force modulation

Who knew?? Art therapists and artists likely do

If you want to settle your nervous system and improve your brain function -give art a try!

Grief → art= purpose.

I lost two people I loved.

As the grief grew, it needed somewhere to go instead of eating me up.

As I created my final sculpture in their honor -I felt it.

That was the moment that changed everything.

Now I have the honor of helping others find their own shift. 🌿

When was the last time anyone asked or insisted, you make a mess?

This Saturday you’re invited to make a mess, tear, rip, glue, cut, remove and try again until it feels like it fits.

You know when it does. It’s like finding the long lost puzzle piece, when it clicks in place.

The layers and textures mimic the path of life-there’s so much available and more to discover in this experiential workshop.

It’s a great way to start your weekend.

Sometimes the most healing thing you can do is get your hands dirty. 🌿

Weeding a garden isn’t just yard work — it’s a felt reminder that growth requires clearing. The dead runners, the tangled roots, the stuff that’s been taking up space without giving anything back… it all has to go to make room for what’s ready to bloom.

Therapy works the same way. You start noticing the thoughts that no longer serve you.
You gently — sometimes not so gently 😄 — pull them out.
And slowly, you create space for new perspectives, new roots, new life.

You don’t need a perfect garden. You just need the willingness to tend to it.

🌱 What’s one old thought you’re ready to pull out this week? Drop it in the comments

I’ve been fortunate to be raised by great cooks and a couple of chefs, so I LOVE cooking!

But in typical Christina style, I have to make it different

My different is usually a healthy twist filled with color.

My student used to know what kind of mood I was in simply by how I was dressed. I believe that our environment; what we intake, surround ourselves with, who we surround ourselves with, and all of what we consume (food, drink, air, television, text) -all matters.

So when Mother Nature gives you something like the rainbow of beats -you have to have fun with it.

How do you color your life? Friends, food, hobbies
Let me know, I’m curious? 👀

Art is my antidote

What’s yours?

The thing or things that diffuse the turmoil
The thing that quiets the chaos and allows you to sift out the unnecessary pieces and gifts you perspective?

How do you arrive by Friday?

Relaxed and ready to enjoy the weekend or shoulders around your ears, nervous system on high alert?

That’s where the labyrinth comes in.

There’s no wrong turn. No maze to solve. Just one winding path that gently asks your body to slow down and your mind to let go.

With every step inward, you start to exhale. The week begins to fall away — the emails, the deadlines, the mental chatter.

By the time you reach the center?
You arrive. Not just at the middle of the path — but back to yourself.

Walking out, you carry something different.

A quiet. A readiness.

A sense that the weekend isn’t just time off — it’s time back.

The labyrinth doesn’t rush you. And maybe that’s exactly what you need.

It doesn’t take much to make me excited, especially in the garden!

It’s a constant reminder of how patience works

Nature doesn’t chase
Nature doesn’t force

She only allows and surrenders

What could develop in your life with a little distance and patience?
