Last weekend we proudly marched in the Saranac Lake Winter Carnival Parade for the very first time! ❄️🎉

As one of the North Country’s biggest community events, this was an incredible opportunity to connect with local residents, raise awareness, and share the services and support we provide. From the cold winter air to the warm community spirit, it was an unforgettable experience showing what the Alliance is all about — compassion, connection, and care.

Thank you to everyone who marched with us and everyone who cheered us on! 💙

Our harm reduction vending machine in the small rural community of Cambridge has now been available for 17 months — and the numbers show consistent, meaningful use.

This is what access to essential health resources looks like:

✔️ Narcan: 286 distributed
✔️ Fentanyl Test Strips: 415 distributed
✔️ Xylazine Test Strips: 115 distributed
✔️ Safer S*x Supplies (Condoms): 1,870 distributed
✔️ Menstrual Products: 75 distributed

These numbers represent more than supplies — they reflect prevention, dignity, and support for community health.

As we look ahead to expanding services into larger communities, we’re excited to see the continued impact of increasing access to lifesaving resources.

💙 Because everyone deserves access to care — no matter where they live.

✨ We recently stopped by The Den and had the chance to connect with Margaret Carciobolo, CEO & owner of Nicole’s — a longtime supporter and dedicated partner of Alliance for Positive Health.

For years, Nicole's Restaurant has shown incredible commitment to our community through Dining Out for Life, and we’re excited to share that this year their new space, The Den, is joining the movement too! 🙌

Local businesses like Nicole’s and The Den help make HIV prevention, care, and support services possible across our region.

So grateful for the opportunity to partner with SUNY Plattsburgh 's Student Health and Counseling Center during Cardinal Wellness Week 💙

Last Friday, staff from our Harm Reduction team provided Naloxone training at the Cardinal Lounge, where 62 students and faculty members participated, exceeding the 43 registered attendees and marking the second highest attendance since these trainings began. The strong engagement and participation from the campus community reflects a shared commitment to health, safety, and overdose prevention.

We’re thankful for the continued collaboration with SUNY Plattsburgh and their dedication to promoting wellness on campus. Together, we are building knowledge, strengthening prevention efforts, and helping save lives through education and community partnership.

Another pantry unloading day in the books 🙌

Because of our incredible staff and volunteers, food is sorted, stocked, and ready to reach the people who need it most. Days like this remind us that community care is a team effort — and we’re so grateful for every set of helping hands that makes it possible. 💙

Thank you to everyone who showed up, pitched in, and helped keep our pantry full. This is what compassion in action looks like.
