At Project TEACH, our goal is to be the trusted partner that primary care clinicians turn to when they need comprehensive, practical and reliable resources to enhance the mental health care they provide. We've recently relaunched our free online Resource Directory to help support this goal.

Primary care clinicians can browse through hundreds of evidence-based pediatric and maternal mental health resources, with options to filter by topic (i.e. Anxiety, Depression, or ADHD), format (i.e. PDF, blog post, video), and demographic (provider or parent/family).

See the directory in action here: https://pulse.ly/n0ujurcbmv

Maternal Mental Health (MMH) topics are led by a Project TEACH reproductive psychiatrist or perinatal psychologist and are available to any agency in New York State that supports perinatal patients.

Child & Adolescent Mental Health topics are led by a Project TEACH child & adolescent psychiatrist and/or a primary care clinician, and are offered to pediatric and family medicine practices in NYS.

Have you attended a past Project TEACH training event? Are you uncertain about what to expect?

As we approach our Child & Adolescent and Maternal Mental Health Spring Intensive Trainings in April and May, we'd like to share what past attendees have been saying about our training events:

"Everything I have ever attended through Project TEACH has been great. I am grateful it exists and that so many smart people are willing to take the time to improve the health of mothers and children." – MMH Intensive Training, Spring 2025

"The presenters made the information easy to understand. I enjoy learning about Project TEACH overall and its mission to educate providers in the state. I think it's a very important initiative and I'm thankful to be informed about these services!" - LMHC, MMH Foundations, Fall 2025

"This was a phenomenal program that explained many of the commonly encountered mental health issues with children in primary care. This greatly increased my knowledge in screening, evaluating, and treating children." - Physician Assistant, Child Intensive Training, Fall 2025

"This course being held in a virtual platform provides great access and flexibility for participants. It covered all the big mental health issues that we see on a daily basis in a primary care setting, enabling us to feel more comfortable with assessing, diagnosing and treatment these patients. I really appreciate this course. Thank you all for your hard work!" - Physician, Child Intensive Training, Fall 2025
