I have to admit, 2025 was a pretty challenging year for me personally, and I’m glad to be in this new year, even tho I don’t do “resolutions”
I also want to acknowledge the privilege and sacredness that also happened. May I remember some of these moments with grace and learning. May I have courage to do better, may I grow to be a better ally for those around me, and give where I can without being drained. Blessings to you on this rainy week we have had. May you know the sun is behind every cloud. 🙏

On the eve of my 45th birthday.
New moon tomorrow 🌑 - a time for deep reflection.
It has been a strange year for me personally, and I am fully embracing fall & change & getting older & hopefully wiser 😏
I just moved out of a toxic filled place, and have energy I didn’t realize I was missing! Funny how the body adjusts to things like that. I feel lighter!
I don’t plan to be online tomorrow, but I am feeling called for wishes! Not even for me, but those around you (yes, you!) who are less fortunate than you. The world needs more hugs, more care, more compassion, more understanding. I’m doing my best, and I hope you do too.

Wow, wow, wow! A truly special, magical, sacred weekend with these women. It ended up being exactly right in all the ways. Perfect weather, not too hot or too cold, above the fog (you can see in one pic) and we really called in THE SACRED. I am so humbled to lead a group like this, and i am inspired to do more retreats and day long events.
Still sitting with the magic that unfolded: walks in nature, healthy vegetarian meals, lots of laughter, moving our bodies how we needed, hot tub Saturday night under redwoods, writing love letters to ourselves, making art after dinner.
I created the kind of retreat I like to go too, and guess what? Seems like other people like that too!

End of an era of a beautiful class . Just a few months shy of teaching this class for 9 years (about 6-7 in this space!).
Tonight is the last Monday class!
My greatest heartfelt thank you to all those friends, students, peers and random guests that came to my class over the years.
It started in November 2016, when I knew I could help peoples nervous systems somehow amidst horrible political upheaval (which never seems to end). It was very challenging being a teacher, but it was the best thing I’ve done for myself. It helps me be accountable for my practice. The practice is always changing, the practice keeps me loving my body, no matter how hard it feels some days (especially as I age).
As things change, new things begin! And I’m really feeling it this year. Check out my website for my updated class schedule.
I love teaching, and will always do some form of it, and my business is going strong in all other aspects of my life! It was just time to let this one go!

Embracing the unknown is so challenging! Our bodies change, our jobs, relationships, the world. It can be overwhelming, sometimes it feels challenging to invest in ourselves. Investing in healing was and is the most powerful thing I’ve done for myself, for my heart.

Been taking a huge step back from social media this past year. Still here sometimes, and trying not to get too wrapped up into the turmoil that can be life and how sad the world can feel with our current administration.
It’s so important to fill your own cup and help those around you to be uplifted, because the balance feels off a lot of the time.
So, here are a few photos that bring my joy in the past month:
First one, feeling fit and working out a ton - feeling good in my body! and my arm piece is starting to come together () and I got the heart done on Vday, which is so weirdly on brand for me.
Second pic, little Angi sending love! My mom unearthed these from the 80’s. Love is….a special place in my heart, a locket in my heart (not shown) and best friends. So true, little Angi!
3, my love is ok! They survived two intense surgeries in the past 7 months and are healing okay! Deep sigh of relief. We can breathe again…
4th pic is a yoga retreat I was able to go to a couple weeks ago. A real reset. Thank you .berkeley and that was truly special.

Another season gone by. Happy solstice, happy new year. I’ve been a bit quiet on social media (usually I do on election years in the USA!) the world is upsetting in many ways, and I hope we can all agree that we want peace and healing for all…
My partner Star is having a kidney removed next Tuesday. It is cancerous, and we hope that we caught it early. It really makes you look at life differently when something like this happens…
Luckily my niece is in town to help and also K - chosen family feels really meaningful and important this past year (and this next year!) May this new year bring even more healing for all of us.
On a work note: I love my job! My clients! My students! I sincerely love Craniosacral work and Bodylove yoga. I’m still only teaching Monday nights and virtually Thursdays.
Embracing winter and this YIN time!

Yes! Still teaching Bodylove yoga every Monday night! Been teaching this class (on my own / renting my own space) since 2016! Pretty amazing.
Love my yogis.
I do not do this for the money, I do it for my heart and to keep me in my own body practice and heart work.
We do 10 minute savasana at the end of every class. I believe we all need deep rest, deep contemplation, places to feel safe to rest with others. It is a gift.

I limit class to 10, so we usually have 1-2 spots available every now and again, email to be added to list. It is the only class I am teaching in person until the end of the year!

HBD Charlie! SOooo grateful I get to be in this amazing young persons life. My niece has been living with me since December. She is 21 and despite the trials and tribulations she’s gone through this past couple years, she still lives with grace and perseverance. Love you so much Charlie!!!
Our whole household hasn’t been feeling well for a variety of reasons this past week. So, we get a do over next week/weekend!

Fun summer teaching announcement! LET YOUR SOUL PLAY!
I’ll be a teacher Bodylove Yoga & Sensual Yoga at the amazing this year! I attended as a participant the first year it happened (10 years ago) and then went last year. It is SO MUCH FUN! Especially for folks that want a sober festival vibe. No substances! Also? Food is included in the ticket, and it was delicious!
