Protect nurses, patients, and our communities.

Alex Pretti, an ICU nurse devoted to caring for others, was killed while providing compassionate care. His life mattered. Nurses have an ethical duty to care for all people without fear, without interference, and without violence.

The American Nurses Association refuses to normalize violence in our care settings or communities. When policies threaten safety, access to care, and public trust, nurses must speak out.

Congress must act.
Demand an independent investigation, real reform, and an end to enforcement practices that endanger care and violate patient rights.
