Legislative Update: Vaccine Bills Advance in NYS Senate

Two vaccine-related bills advanced in the New York State Senate last week, reinforcing the State’s commitment to evidence-based immunization practices.

The legislation would align New York’s childhood vaccine requirements and related insurance coverage with recommendations from major medical societies, as advised by the Commissioner of Health, ensuring providers can continue relying on science-driven standards.

Both bills are now on the Senate floor and remain pending in Assembly Committees. We will continue to monitor progress and share updates.
